Ticket Terms & Conditions
The Music Emporium
The Music Emporium exists to share inspiring live music in welcoming spaces.
Our Terms & Conditions are here simply to provide clarity outlining how tickets, refunds and event changes are managed so that both artists and audiences are treated fairly. We aim to be transparent, reasonable and professional in all we do.
By purchasing a ticket to a Music Emporium event, you agree to the following:
1. Booking & Tickets
Tickets are sold via our authorised ticketing partner (TryBooking.co.uk).
Your booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
Each ticket is issued as a licence to attend the event and remains the property of The Music Emporium.
2. Refunds & Event Changes
If you can no longer attendTickets are non-refundable, so we encourage you to check dates carefully before booking.
If we cancel
If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, you will receive a refund of the ticket’s face value.
Booking fees may be subject to the ticketing provider’s own terms.
If we reschedule
If an event is postponed, your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date.
If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, we will offer a reasonable refund window.
Programme changes
Occasionally, artists or programme details may change. Such changes do not normally entitle ticket holders to a refund, but we will communicate clearly if there are significant alterations.
3. Admission & Audience Experience
We are committed to creating welcoming, respectful environments for music and shared experience.
Entry may be refused or revoked (without refund) in cases of:
Abusive, disruptive or unsafe behaviour
Excessive intoxication
Possession of illegal substances
Breach of venue policies
Minimum age requirements (where stated) apply. Proof of age may be requested.
4. Ticket Resale
Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain.
Tickets purchased via unauthorised resale platforms may not be valid.
Lost or stolen tickets may not be replaceable.
5. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
If circumstances beyond our reasonable control — such as severe weather, venue closure, or government restrictions — affect an event, we may need to reschedule or cancel.
In such cases, we will communicate promptly and offer either a transfer to a new date or an appropriate refund where applicable.
6. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
Otherwise, The Music Emporium cannot be held responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
Attendees remain responsible for their personal belongings.
7. Photography & Media
Events may occasionally be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes.
By attending, you consent to possible inclusion of your image in promotional material unless you notify us in advance.
